This event is another example of New Orleans' ties to Europe. This game is primarily played in Italy - and is prevalent in Sicily. New Orleans has many citizens of Italian descent, and many of those trace their roots to Sicily. This game - well, notice the scenery in the Bocce Club when you view the pictures.....
