Jane is the Event Coordinator for "The Throws" - and the new-for-2009 "Darts," (it comes out "Dahts": in her Bostonian accent). She helps with the "Washer Pitch," and she participates in those Events, plus shuffleboard. |

Jane Marchese has been an active member with GNOSO since 2003. Her interests are washer pitch, shuffleboard, bowling, and The Throws. Jane has no formal training in any of these venues, but that does not stop her. She is not only playing the game, but she is running it too. Jane is the GNO Senior Olympic Coordinator for Washer Pitch, and holds the position of Secretary and West Bank Representative for the GNOSO Executive Board. |

| Jane is also very instrumental with the Jefferson Parish Golden Age programs. She volunteers as the Athletic Director and is in charge of many events such as shuffleboard, washer pitch, and darts. She conducts fundraisers to help support all of these events. Jane host the LSOG Awards Banquet annually held in May, and Intramural Awards Banquet held annually in November. Jane says, “I wholehearted support senior citizen athletic programs, being involved helps keep me agile.” There is something special about Jane! | ||
